Introduction to Quasar's Concentrated Liquidity (CL) Vaults
Quasar’s Concentrated Liquidity Vaults allow users to effortlessly manage liquidity shares, with the stTIA/TIA Dynamic S+ Vault being the latest addition to Quasar. All Quasar CL Vaults, including the stTIA/TIA Dynamic S+ Vault, are non-custodial and built on the Osmosis chain using the outpost model. This vault opens new avenues for users to deploy their stTIA within the Cosmos ecosystem. These vaults leverage off-chain data to autonomously rebalance positions, optimizing liquidity strategy and maximizing yield.
Acquiring TIA and stTIA
In order to utilize the vaults, you must have a positive balance of both TIA and stTIA in a compatible wallet. Since Quasar will pull from your Osmosis on-chain balances, we will move our tokens to the Osmosis chain before getting started.
- How to get TIA
- To acquire TIA within Cosmos, you can simply swap your positive balance of a listed token on Osmosis for TIA at https://app.osmosis.zone/. This example swaps USDC for TIA directly in the Osmosis app.
- How to get stTIA
- You can acquire stTIA through liquid staking on Stride, or from performing a swap for TIA on Osmosis.
- If you have liquid staked on Stride and need to move your stTIA to Osmosis, you can perform an IBC transfer directly in your Keplr wallet extension or using https://ibc.fun/.
Funding the Vault
After moving your funds to the Osmosis chain, you will be ready to utilize them in Quasar vaults! Visit the vaults landing page at https://app.quasar.fi/.
In the top right corner of the page, select “Connect Wallet” and follow the prompts.
For this example, we will use a Keplr wallet.
Select “Deposit” at the right side of the page. Since this is a dynamic vault, the token ratio is constantly changing. So, the balance of stTIA and TIA you need to deposit will be different amounts. Input the amounts you wish to provide, then Select “Deposit” to initiate the transaction.
Complete the transaction in your Keplr wallet by selecting “Approve.”
That’s it! You have successfully deposited your stTIA and TIA into the Dynamic S+ vault on Quasar. The vault will monitor and optimize your position automatically.
When you return to the main screen of the vault, you will be able to view the total amount of your contributions to the vault. You will have the options to deposit more, claim rewards once they become available, or withdraw funds when you are ready.
