Kujira is a decentralized ecosystem building dApps for all crypto users - for protocols, builders and web3 users seeking sustainable FinTech. To provide stToken liquidity on Kujira’s liquidity pools, you can use BOW - a framework optimizing trading pairs on FIN, Kujira's decentralized exchange. Check out FIN here.
This tutorial will walk you through providing stAsset liquidity using BOW.
Preliminary requirements:
- Ensure you have liquid staked your ATOM and/or OSMO and that you have the correct amount of stATOM or stOSMO that you wish to lend. You must also have enough of the other token in the pool that you select.
- Ensure you have made your stAsset funds available on Kujira. If you do not have assets in the Kujira ecosystem, there are two ways you can move your funds. (Read here for full overview from Kujira on depositing funds to their ecosystem.)
- Using a fiat onramp (for new Defi users)
- transfer funds directly from your bank account into the Kujira ecosystem
- Using bridging tools (for more active Defi users)
- On Kujira BLUE, you can use their “IBC / Bridge” feature:
Moving stAssets to Kujira
Step 1: Bridge stATOM + stOSMO from Osmosis back to Stride
- You should go here (https://app.osmosis.zone/assets), find your stATOM, and then hit “Withdraw”
Step 2: Bridge stATOM + stOSMO from Stride to Kujira
- Go here (https://blue.kujira.network/ibc?destination=kaiyo-1&denom=stuatom&source=stride-1) to send your tokens from Stride to Kujira
When the transaction is successful, you will see your stToken(s) on your Kujira address.
Providing Liquidity of stAssets on Kujira
- Open BOW https://bow.kujira.network/ (pictured above). Connect your wallet (top right corner).
When your wallet is connected, you should see your Kujira address in the top right corner.
- Select the “Pools” button on the main page. You will see a homepage containing widgets of all of the liquidity pools available.
- If you scroll down a bit, you can see a list of all of the pools. To filter for stAssets, type “st” in the search box. Since this tutorial is about providing stAsset liquidity, we show the current pools for LPing either your stOSMO or stATOM assets. Select the pool you wish to LP.
- For this example, we will use the KUJI/stATOM pool. Once you are on the homepage of the pool, select “Provide.”
- On the “Provide” page, you will see a space to deposit or withdraw. Since we are adding liquidity, you want to “Deposit” the amount of stATOM you wish to provide.
- Provide at the bottom left–by entering a number of tokens next to the stAsset. The amount of the other token will automatically fill itself in as both token balances must be submitted equally. You need a balance of KUJI (in this example) equivalent to the value of the stATOM balance that you wish to deposit as liquidity.
- Select the preferred slippage rate (lower is usually better)
- Select the toggle list to accept the terms and conditions
- Select “Deposit Liquidity” and pay the gas fees
- You should see your LP balance reflective of the value you just provided.
- Find the “Stake” section and enter the amount of LP you would like to stake (it is standard to LP 100% of the funds), then select “Stake” and pay gas fees.
After this, the process is complete. You will see your total staked balance on this page.
You will now have successfully provided stToken liquidity on Kujira’s pools!
- You can also withdraw liquidity. Anytime. For this example, we will use the KUJI/stOSMO pool
Select “Withdraw Liquidity” and pay the gas fees
A similar procedure for withdrawing funds(unstake) occurs on the Stake tab.
Your liquidity has been successfully withdrawn to your wallet.
