stIBCX, the Cosmos' first liquid staked index token, is now live on Osmosis! stIBCX is governed by ION DAO. To mint stIBCX, users liquid stake their IBCX, an index token backed by a diversified selection of Cosmos tokens, some of which are not staked. Upon liquid staking IBCX, users receive stIBCX, backed by the same tokens but now liquid staked by Stride, such as stOSMO and stATOM instead of OSMO and ATOM. Stride's comprehensive range of Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) supports over 80% of the stIBCX basket. Unstaked tokens within stIBCX will transition to LSTs as additional Stride LSTs, like stAXL and stATK, become available. This liquid staked index token sets a precedent within the Cosmos ecosystem and has prompted speculation in the community about its potential role as collateral for a future Cosmos decentralized stable coin.
- In order to add liquidity to the pool, you must have a positive balance of stIBCX tokens, which means you need IBCX in your wallet that you can liquid stake on Stride. You will also need a positive balance of OSMO if you wish to LP the stIBCX/OSMO pool.

- Go to app.stride.zone and connect your wallet. Find IBCX from the dropdown menu indicated here.
- Add the amount you wish to liquid stake and click Liquid Staking.
- Confirm your action by selecting Start Staking.

Adding Liquidity to the stIBCX/OSMO Pool
After we have acquired the tokens we need, we can begin to add liquidity to the pool.
- Go to Osmosis and select the Pools tab
- Next, write stIBCX on the right to narrow the search filter.
- Select the pool you wish to LP - in this case it is stIBCX/OSMO - or simply by clicking on the following link.
- Click Add liquidity
- Leave the tab on All assets so you can add both assets - stIBCX and OSMO. Enter the desired values and click Add Liquidity.
6. Complete the transaction in your wallet.
Congratulations - you have added stIBCX to the liquidity pool! Now you can see the balance in the active pool:
When LPing, you can also just add a single asset to the pool (and not a pair or assets). To do this, you need to change the tab in the pool to Single asset, then choose the desired token from the two options in the pool.
Withdrawing Assets
When desired, you can withdraw assets from the pool.
- Click Remove Liquidity
- Adjust the slider to the desired value and click the Remove Liquidity button.
- Follow exactly the same procedure for a single asset withdrawal.
