This platform has liquidity pools with multiple tokens obtained through STRIDE. The second token in the pair is mainly stEvmos. Let’s use it as an example and consider the algorithm for adding liquidity.
First, we need the native Evmos token in the EVM network on the MetaMask wallet because Forge works with EVM wallets. The easiest way is to buy it on an exchange and send it to your wallet in the desired network, or you may already have it.
The second option is to buy the token on Osmosis and withdraw it to MetaMask. Let’s examine this in more detail. You buy the Evmos token, go to the assets tab, and click on withdraw.
This is not a regular withdrawal from Osmosis. It will be an IBC transfer, so it will redirect you to the Evmos application. Connect your wallet using Kelpr, click deposit, choose the Osmosis network and token, click deposit, and confirm the transaction.
The above steps allow you to get the token from Osmosis directly on MetaMask without any intermediate transfers.

Let’s go to Forge. In the pool tab, we choose what we like. Let’s say stEvmos/WEVMOS.
Now, we need to exchange our native Evmos token for the desired assets, leaving some for the commission. In the exchange tab, we exchange Evmos for WEVMOS.
And Evmos for stEvmos. It’s necessary to have an approximate ratio of 50/50.
Go to the pools tab and click on the selected pool.
Set the price range for our pool and approve both tokens.
Click on preview.
Confirm adding liquidity to the pool.
Now, in the add liquidity tab, you can see your position.
Clicking on it opens a tab with more detailed information where you can add a position, withdraw liquidity, see commission rewards, and price range.
That’s how easy it is. Now, let’s go and enjoy.
