If you have a ledger, we will need to install the Cosmos app in Ledger Live first. If you already have the Cosmos app on ledger live, you can skip to step #6.
Install the Cosmos App in Ledger Live
- Open your Ledger Live app
- Connect your ledger, unlock it, and approve connection to the Ledger Live app
- Select ‘My Ledger’ on the left-hand side of the Ledger app
- Search for Cosmos under ‘App catalog’
- Click ‘Install’ on the right-hand side of the Cosmos app
Install and Setup Keplr
- Click the button for the browser that you’ll be using Keplr on
- Add the extension to your browser
- After installation, Keplr will automatically open in your browser window. Click on ‘Connect Hardware Wallet’
- Click ‘Connect Ledger’
- Enter a wallet name. You can name the wallet whatever you like.
- Enter in a password for your wallet and confirm that password
- Click ‘Next’
- Click ‘Next’
- A popup on your browser will appear. Select your ledger device and click ‘Connect’
- Open the Cosmos app on your ledger and then click ‘Next’
- On the Select Chains screen, search for following chains and check mark them: Stride and Agoric
- Click the ‘Save’ button
- On the next Select Chains screen, check mark Dymension
- Click the ‘Save’ button
- Click the ‘Next’ button
- Open the Ethereum app on your ledger and then click ‘Next’
- A popup on your browser will appear. Select your ledger device and click ‘Connect’
