If you have a hot wallet, we will need to import your seed phrase from Metamask in Keplr. We will start the tutorial by retrieving the seed phrase from Metamask. If you already have your seed phrase, you can skip to step #15.
Retrieve your seed phrase from Metamask:
- Click the Metamask icon in your browser bar.
- Click the three dots in the top-right hand corner of the Metamask drop-down
- Click âSettingsâ
- Click âSecurity and Privacyâ
- Click âReveal Secret Recovery Phraseâ
- Click the âGet Startedâ button
- For the question âIf you lose your Secret Recovery Phrase, MetamaskâŠâ choose: âCanât Help Youâ
- Click the âContinueâ button
- For the question âIf anyone, even a support agent asks for your Secret Recovery Phrase⊠â choose: âYouâre being scammedâ
- Click the âContinueâ button
- Enter in your Metamask wallet password in the text box
- Click the âNextâ button
- Hold the âHold to reveal SRPâ button
- Your seed phrase will be at the bottom of the drop-down. Click the âCopy to clipboardâ to copy it to your clipboard or write it down.
Install and Setup Keplr
- Click the button for the browser that youâll be using Keplr on
- Add the extension to your browser
- After installation, Keplr will automatically open in your browser window. Click on âImport an existing walletâ
- Click the âUse recovery phrase or private keyâ button
- Paste the seed phrase from your clipboard or enter it into the boxes
- Click âImportâ
- Enter a wallet name. You can name the wallet whatever you like
- Enter in a password for your wallet and confirm that password
- Click the âNextâ button
- On the Select Chains screen, search for following chains and check mark them: Stride, Agoric, and Dymension
- Click the âSaveâ button
Upon completion of these steps, you will have imported your Metamask address to Keplr. If there are any issues with this process or assistance needed, please contact support at https://support.stride.zone
